Job Description
  • Supervise NDT Operations for the proper and timely execution of NDT in respect to quality and quantity
  • Assure NDT procedures are compliant to code and customer requirements
  • Determine adequacy of manpower requirement in relationship to the Histogram
  • Coordinate with QA / QC and Production Personnel regarding schedule of NDT activities
  • Interpret radiographs as per code and customer specification
  • Administer the ASNTC Qualification of Personnel (which involves annual eye test, NDT equipment calibration, NDT,
  • Personnel Certification Profile Radiation Medical, Radiation Dose Record, Isotope Movement Register and Dosimeter, Reading Chart, Source Record and Leak Certificate and maintenance of Govt. Monthly Record)
  • Assure safe handling of all radioactive sources being imported and exported
  • Assure safe usage of radioactive equipment and personnel within the yard
  • Coordinate QC / NDT Personnel Industrial Qualification, Examination, Training and Renewals that are externally organized
  • Archive Radiographs for all projects onshore and offshore
  • Coordinate with Govt. authorities regarding Environmental Protection & Safety
  • Conduct periodic review of NDT Consumables for cost reduction
  • Supervise the Certification Clerks to assure accuracy and progress of the Project Certification throughout the project
  • Pursue the acceptance of the Project Certification with the customer and Certifying Authority
  • Ensure proper maintenance and development of the Project Certification System software and hardware
  • Cross check Operators / Technicians
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of practical work experience in the oil and gas industry for the construction of marine structures, pipelines, piping, castings etc.
Qualifications
  • ASNT Level III in UT, RT, MT and PT
  • Qualification in advanced technology such as Phased Array and Time of Flight Diffraction would be an added advantage
  • Age limit of 35 years

Job Description
  • Provide Benchmarking analysis for estimate validation
  • Review past projects, analyze the cost , man-hour content and other aspects of estimates and proposals in order to provide data that will assist management in gaining confidence in estimates for new bids and help in dividing the level of mark ups, analyzing risk factors &  impacts and exposures
  • Update and maintain statistics on the Benchmark indices and KPI's
  • Identify and recommend optimization cost saving measures during bid proposal stage
  • Coordinate and assist where necessary with the department and Lead estimators to ensure that estimates are completely in a timely manner and cognizant to the "Bid Win Strategy"
  • Review departmental estimates to ensure estimates are as per scope of work, accurate free from errors and omissions, consistent with the bid strategy and with the company's benchmarking information
  • Review and check that all Subcontract RFQ's and MTO's are provided in accordance with the bid price form provided by the client
  • Identify and list all subcontract work requirements and prepare a responsibility assignment matrix and send to Proposals for inclusion in the Action List
  • Read the validation check list and ensure all project bid scope and specification requirements are in line with the estimates
  • Ensure that estimates are prepared in accordance with JRM Level 2 procedures
  • Collect and maintain actual PMT cost incurred for completed projects from PMT and incorporate in the benchmarking for current and future project bids
  • Collect and maintain historical data for Marine Installation, Miscost, Subcontracts, Fabrication, Hook-up and Commissioning
  • Identify and prepare benchmarks for inclusion in the Bid Review Package for Local Management Review
  • Assist Leads and coordinators in the preparation of bid, especially in checking the accuracy of the cost rack up and preparation of unit rates
Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry
