	Chief Financial Officer
	Our client is a market leader in media. They are seeking a CFO to support the company’s mission by managing Accounting, Financial Management, Tax, Treasury, Risk Management and Information Services for the regional businesses in Asia. Chief Financial Officer Competitive salary As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the CFO will report directly to the Managing Director and will participate in setting broad organisational goals, objectives and policies. Tasks include Support project management and rights acquisition activities Facilitate Board needs and requirements for all financial areas, make financial presentations at Board meetings and Executive Management meetings Oversee financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements Manage cash flow and cash forecasting, optimize the handling of banking relationships. Initiate strategies to manage currency risks including hedging Lead the annual budgeting, long range planning and reforecast processes, evaluate and submit capital budgets. Direct Tax compliance and effective tax planning Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities Review and maintain sound internal control safeguards, co-ordinate all audit activities Participate in establishment, negotiation and management of joint ventures Providing leadership to a team of around 64 within APAC a minimum of 12 years experience in increasingly responsible financial positions encompassing a broad range of managerial roles is essential. Experience with conducting and managing businesses in various Asian countries including direct complex joint venture experience is expected. Strong strategic planning, financial and leadership skills are a must along with a high level of integrity, dependability and a strong sense of urgency. Mandarin a plus along with knowledge of the media industry.
