Chemical Specialties (Singapore) Pte Ltd, CSL, will be setting up a `first-of-its-kind’ specialty chemical contract manufacturing facility on the Jurong Island Chemical Complex in Singapore. CSL is formed by a joint venture of individuals with extensive experience in specialty chemical contract manufacturing operations working with a wide customer base that includes major marketing companies in the petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Technical Manager
The Technical Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of plant processes, and the development and implementation of new processes.
Process Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to plant processes
- Develop improvements in processes, utilities
- Cost reduction and cycle time savings
Project Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new processes for production at plant
- Develop cost associated with projects
- Develop design for new equipment required for projects
- Oversee installation of new equipment
- Commissioning and startup of processes
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Participate in and contribute to Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive actions (determination and implementation)
- Implementation of Risk Assessment and HAZAP reviews for facility
- Key decision maker in facility direction and business matters
Successful Candidate will have
- A Bachelors degree in technical filed, preferably Chemical Engineering
- At least 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of management experience
